FAQ
-
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I dye all your orders out of my home studio located in Lockhart, TX.
-
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR YARN?
I source yarn from several different wholesalers. As an animal lover, it’s important to me that my bases are ethically sourced and come from mulesing-free farms.
-
DO YOU ACCEPT REFUNDS?
In general, no. All sales are final, however if you are unhappy with an order please contact me at jessica@lockhartfiber.com.
If an item is received damaged or is returned to me by USPS, those refunds will be handled on a case by case basis.
-
HOW ARE YOU ITEMS SHIPPED?
In-stock items are packaged and shipped via USPS within 2-4 business days of purchase. Any pre-order will include a shipping timeline.
-
DOES YOUR YARN BLEED?
All skeins are rinsed with unscented wool wash, however, some bleeding may still occur. This is more likely with darker colors. I recommend always hand washing in cold water to avoid colors bleeding.

WHAT DOES OOAK MEAN?
OOAK is the abbreviation of one of a kind. I’ll occasionally post skeins for sale that are one-off dyes, don’t match a particular color-way, or are tests. OOAK skeins are discounted and labeled accordingly and are non-refundable.
